Just popping back on to send huge congratulations to Mrs LW and family. Hope all goes well with the pregnancy.
JUDI nice to hear from you. HILSTEP pleased to hear you are feeling a little better and OH is in attendance.
We've had the promised sunshine and showers on and off all day. With a strong wind for good measure. Where is summer?! I keep losing concentration with Wimbledon, they are in and out like Jocky and Jinny every time rain stops play.
Have a good evening folks xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

MRS LURCHWALKER that's amazing news.
JACKIE O I did a search for slow cooked liver and onions and your recipe came up. Thanks it was delicious.
Sorry I've been Awol for a few days. My brother is still in hospital , he's got a diagnosis of cirrhosis of the liver. Apparently he was very close to dying. Then my friend text to say her husband was in hospital with sepsis and he to almost died. Also a friend of my daughter has got to go for a heart operation and should have been going to 24 hour camp with her.
Friday husband had a day off so we went out to 2 towns to raid charity shops and lunch in a Wetherspoons. Managed to get 2 books that were on my list and a top for me. Husband got yet more maps and dvds.
Today husband and son went to collect a bike for sons birthday. Made son pay petrol money.I've made 3 lasagne and 3 gooseberry crumbles.
Hugs to those who want / need them.0 -
My goodness so much happening today .
H/H well done on raising the Race for Life cash My lovely brother Davey lost his life to leukemia in May of this year and my DD and I are doing our second Race for Life next Saturday at Mote Park, Maidstone .His name will go on our race cards back and front to join the other 6 people's names of friends and family who have lost their fight to this dreadful disease.Just seen on the news that Caroline Aherne has too lost the fight today, bless her that's the second funny lady this year along with Victoria Wood. I only wish that all the money spent on finding ways to kill our fellow human beings was spent on saving lives instead, how much more satisfying would that be. Things have come on over the past few years in leaps and bounds and hopefully research will help to find a cure
I am so lucky having survived ovarian and breast cancer and my Race/Walk for Life next week is my DD's and my way of saying thank you to all the doctors and nurses who saved my life, they really are amazing
Cafe Kate glad you enjoyed it
Oh Judi I bet you were spitting feathers when you got home.
Hilstep keep up the fight honey you are so positivexxx
I went to the church fete but there wasn't a great deal to buy so I saved my cash:).Still all the washing and ironing was done and put away which means I have tomorrow off, and can read or knit as I feel like it
<hugs> to those in need

Too right i was (still am). Hubby has been in contact with the suppliers and they have asked to see pictures so they can determine what the problem is before they give us an estimate cost if at all it can be fixed. They will give us the cost of replacing it too which i'm afraid Youngest will have to pay for if it cant be fixed. I'm not having my house trashed by him and his mates. The last time they came in whilst we were away they went round moving things. It took youngest ages on the Sunday before we came home to put things back.
I never did let on to hubby why his work coat was stuffed behind the settee.:rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hilstep.....take care of you.
Rain and wind here, interspersed with lovely sunshine....drives me nuts to have this weather in July.
