Hi. Contacted my bank who said I would have qualified for being mis-sold PPI but because it was over 10 years ago I was not eligible to claim. Is this correct or should I pursue it.
Many thanks

You are indeed eligible to make a complaint,(note, a complaint and not a claim) but as it was taken out before this was regulated they can literally say
On Your Bike.
Do they say why you would have qualified.......
Any complaint would have to be backed up with proof of miss sellling, make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

What reason are you giving for being mis-sold? Did you even have PPI?0 -
Barclaycard just upheld a complaint for card from 2001
Barclayloan did the same for a loan in 1997
I guess it depends on some luck0 -
As long as records exist, there is no real time limit for PPI complaints.0

It sounds more like a conversation on probability rather than them quoting a rule. i.e. Because its over 10 years ago, there may not be the records.
