CLC world resorts trial holidays

I "won" a 1 week holiday.
My wife and I visited their location by Trafford Centre.
No hard pressure sale
It dragged on a bit.
It sounds genuine but I'm extremely sceptical.
Any opinions, recent. 2014 2015 2016 experiences please.

Club La Costa has been 'awarding' free weeks for years. The hard sell comes when you are in resort and there is no escape from the salesmen. They don't call it timeshare anymore because if they did you would have a cooling off period. If you are prepared to buy your own flights and willing to give up 5 hours of the week for the presentation, certain in the knowledge that buying accommodation this way probably makes no sense at all, go for it and have a weeks holiday. If you think you might be tempted, avoid like the plague. That is my jaundiced view, other might think otherwise, but your free week is not a bargain, they have always been 'free'0

We have done this 3 times. It's only 3 hours unless you let them drag on and that includes free breakfast or lunch.
Their accommodation and facilities are fantastic. This of course helps the "hard sell" but you would have to be nuts to pay full price.
CLC don't like it, but you can buy points for 10p in the £ or less second hand.0 -
Just "Won" one of their holidays too  , so would like to know how it worked out and if it's worth going0
