Low cost holiday problem

Can anyone help, i went onto trivago today to look for a hotel in new york, to my surprise the roxy hotel was on offer for £59 a night so naturally i booked it, the site it took me to was low cost travel. I selected the room and paid for it there and then, i received email confirmations that the hotel roxy in New York was booked for 2 people for 7 nights.
This is where it becomes a problem, i contacted the hotel to ask about taxes and fees, they have no booking for me, so i check the low cost holiday page and they have booked me into a hotel in Vienna. I phoned them and they are looking into it, then 2 hours later they send me the exact same email with a booking for the New York one, does anyone know where I stand on this?

you should be given a full refund and put back into the position you were before you booked.
Sounds like some IT glitch..if you are asking whether they have to give you a $380+ per night room for £59 per night...the answer is 'no'0 -
Does that not mean they have looked into to it and amended it to the correct booking?0

You need to confirm exactly what booking you have.mikeyg1967 wrote: »Can anyone help, i went onto trivago today to look for a hotel in new york, to my surprise the roxy hotel was on offer for £59 a night so naturally i booked it, the site it took me to was low cost travel. You can either contact Low Cost Holidays or do what you did last time and contact the hotel direct to see if they now have your booking.
If they do have your booking, check the card you used for the booking to make sure you haven't been charged more than the £59 per night.0 -
Definitely sounds like they have some glitch on their site with that hotel if it showed the NYC hotel while you were booking and you have email showing that hotel yet booked you in Vienna.
Check your booking on the site again and if it is still showing Vienna, call them back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

I suggest you just go to Vienna since you have a bargain hotel there. Much more to see and do there than in New York.0

Although some feel the "Women in Gold" painting should be on public display in Vienna, but it's in New York.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
