Just to update this. I had no response from either Curry's or Nationwide to my LBA. I then started a small claims action citing both of them as defenders. Curry's asked for some additional information, and have just agreed to settle in full, including court fees.
I made a rookie error in taking Curry's to court as they do not exist legally. I should have cited DSG retail Ltd. I'm not sure how that would have panned out. I might have had to start again, or go for enforcement against Nationwide only, if it reached that point.0 -

DSG retail ltd don't exist either, you would have had to start again, as you are unable to enforce action against a non-existent company.
Always go with what Companies House says, https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/search?q=07105905
which would be DIXONS CARPHONE PLC,0 -

Their legal team told me it should be DSG retail Ltd. At the bottom of the Curry's page on the website it says DSG retail and gives a company number which leads here:-

I suspect Nationwide were unhappy at being dragged in under section 75, and would have been pushing Currys to resolve it.
Anyway it is academic now, as they have agreed to settle. My first time ever using small claims and hopefully my last!0
