Perversely the warning sign for the stretched chain is that the dpf light comes on and stays on. Even a Mazda dealer forced a regen before measuring the chain tolerances.Hi,
I know this an old thread but did you contact Mazda UK to get them to pay ? My CX-7 has just had the cam chain replaced at 87k miles and the garage said it was at the end of its life which is ridiculous for a 6 year old car. I have emailed Mazda UK and await their response.
