    1. Payday today and I didn't spend anything (that's good for me).
    2. Saw a financial adviser about my situation - feel hopeful.
    3. Took my breakfast and lunches for the rest of the week to work.
    4. updated my expenditure spreadsheet, hope to do this every day checking my account and making sure everything that should come out does.
cant think of anything else for today but I would say for day 2 of Project "Get yourself of this mess" its a good start :)

Ok, so I managed all in my list apart from dropping the product off. Must try harder tomorrow ;)

Lovely to see you posting foxgloves am completely with you on the mood and direction of country. Can't remember whether it was Ziggy or la e who posted about it at the weekend, whichever it was I hope you are feeling better.

The meat box is amazing - I would definitely recommend it - bargain price too :D

Spent ages on the phone. (All part of the process) to fix the mortgage again. Just need to sign some forms now. Never sure if you're making the right decision until you have the benefit of hindsight. Ho hum. We've been logical and thought about it and weighed up options, what more can you do. Meals we'll be saving £100 a month and reducing term by nearly 2 years. Could have been more aggressive but it's all part of the plan.

PF, good news about the meat box, I looked at it and talked myself out of it because our freezer was quite full. Will keep an eye out in case it comes on again!
FizzyVimto - definitely a good start!

Legomum I would check out the website when you have space. There seems to be very good offers on there anyway, although this was particularly good. I've got a referral code that gives you 4 free chicken breasts and me some rewards if you decide to order at some point. (Not sure how long it lasts though)

I'm also attracted to it as its lean, which you don't always get, particularly with burgers etc...

Hope you're feeling better and nearly 'healed' :)

    Hiya
Just a quick and late check in from me to say that I'm still really busy but I haven't fallen off the face of the planet yet or anything. Still too busy to be very frugal, but the end is in sight.
Today I've managed a nsd and I'm ready for bed at a sensible time as well. Happy days. Other than that I'm not really sure what's going on around and about me. I feel like I'm stuck in some sort of political nightmare - and I have seriously considered (more than once) packing everything up and moving to Scotland. I think I'm still in shock... But I have survived worse than this and will pull through.
    Nothing much else to report.
