If it's a driver issue try "driver booster"
Worst advice ever - If you knew what a driver was, then you would know that "boosting" it is totally nonsensical
Couple that with the companies reputation :-

And I would definately not be letting it anywhere near any machine i am responsible for.0 -

I agree!!! but it seemed a good idea at the time - I'm struggling to find a solution. There isn't a Windows 10 driver for my motherboard on the Gigabyte website although there is a Windows 7 driver that is a later version than the one on my computer. I'm tempted to try to update my driver and see what happens. It's just that the chance of 'killing' the computer seems quite high.0 -

See here about first reverting iRST caching then uninstall the iRST drivers then try the W10 upgrade again:

I strongly advise backing up first before you do this just in case something goes wrong as you never know.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
driver booster doesn't boost as such, it checks every installed driver against manufactures websites and updates you to the latest version.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0
