Paying for my holiday on arrival

Just wondered if anyone knows how this will sway......we usually pay the balance of our holiday direct at the hotel upon arrival (Spain) on our debit card. With the exchange rate now dropping does this mean the cost of our holiday is going to be more? Should we contact the hotel and pay the balance now before it drops anymore? The total balance is 1809 Euros which we had estimated at around £1425.
Thanks

No, no one can tell you the answer as crystal balls don't always foretell the truth. At the moment the pound is falling so every day you delay will cost you more, but tomorrow the Netherlands could announce plans to hold a Referendum to leave the EU and the Euro would fall in value. Predictions are not guarantees, I predicted 6 numbers for the lottery last week, I was wrong and wasted £20
