Trying to buy Euros

Hi I'm trying to buy Euros as I'm worried the £ will go down even more before my hols but all the sites seem down.

Got on the post office which offered terrible rates 1.18, I put everything in including my credit card details and then it said there was a problem

I'm going on holiday to France at the end of July, what do you guys recommend. Shall I wait or go down to the post office tomorrow morning and buy?

Thank you!

I would imagine it will still be cheaper to get your euros from an ATM when you are in France. We haven't had great exchange rates here for a while now...

The post office nearly always offer terrible rates

If you must buy cash, try Thomas Cook 'reserve and collect' online or Sainsburys
Although, lots of places have suspended online ordering over the weekend
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

If you use iPhone or Android you can install Revolut and sign up in a few minutes. Load pounds and convert to euros at interbank rates immediately or later. Use the card for euro purchases and withdrawals.

Kernow - think we are all in the same boat - do we panic buy now before it falls any more (currently sitting 1.19) - or do we hold off a week and hope it starts to climb again.
I normally dont carry a lot of cash - just enough for first couple days and then use Halifax clarity to withdraw cash from atm - or pay for larger purchases.. Hopefully with Halifax Clarity I get the best rate at any given time.
Lots of people starting to go on their annual hard worked for summer holiday and we all want our money to stretch as far as possible.

I had a look to buy some euros on the morning of the referendum result using the guide on MSE and not one site was available.
I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.
