    Hi howburn,

If you wish to cancel the contract due to the RPI price increase, please email us via the Contact us form here.

To access the form you'll need to enter the code WRT165.

As well as stating your query in the question box, please also quote "MSE Forum".

Once sent, you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Post it on here and we'll check we've received it.

If you still wish to upgrade the other number, you can do so by calling 191 from your Vodafone handset or 03333 040 191 from another line.

    Thanks,

    Nathan

Thought we had sorted this out, just checked my bank and next working day transactions, only to see a pending DD for £272! My monthly bill was around £70 for two handsets.

My number is moved to BT and works well, yet there is now my wife's number showing which is correct and another number, that Vodafone help said wasn't there, but still there on show!

This is after it was clearly made out to me my wife's number could be moved to a sim only deal, even though it was within contract due to price increases, so this was moved to that plan. My phone has been out of contract since march this year, so should be no penalty at all. The other number was never requested by me or my wife.

I tried to do this on the Vodafone Live Chat, but i'm unable to, your security measures request that a text be sent with a code to access the service, I cant get the code, as my number is no longer Vodafone, and my wife's away.

It may not be too professional to cancel a DD, but this seems to be the only way to communicate with you!

Nothing's ever sorted unless you go the route specified above more than once.

Hi Nathan, my wife contacted Vodafone via live chat to request her PAC code, she was able to do this as her number is still with Vodafone so she was able to receive the security text.

Still no explanation of where the mystery third number has come from.

But no we do not have a reference number, you must have some means of identifying our account?

I checked my bank and the funds have not left, so I expect Vodafone to contact me.

    Thanks

Not the same thing. See post 9 and follow the instructions, otherwise you will find your expectations a waste of time - because it won't happen.

Been through all that with Vodafone, they can come to me now, it's Vodafones problem.
    Thanks

It won't be their problem if you end up with a debt and wrecked credit file. Never assume Vodafone do anything properly - they always lead you into bigger problems.

Nathan, it's interesting to note that Vodafone who are essentially a communications company are such poor communicators themselves.

I wrote a letter sent it recorded delivery and emailed a copy highlighting the issues above. I have not had a response to ether method except for two missed call and answer phone messages i can barely hear or understand what is being said, so no idea who to call back.
