SA has now been prepared with support from claxtome. Also prepared the Defendant's Bundle which is nicely indexed, containing:
- SA
- Defence Statement
- Counter-Claim
- Claimant's Witness Statement
- Our Witness Statement
- Additional Exhibits
- Schedule of Costs
Based on the arguments, I'm feeling relatively confident. First time in court for either of us, so a little apprehensive about that. Although I have read a number of post-court write-ups which have been very useful - all highlighted how relaxed things were. Overall, actually looking forward to our day in court.
Many thanks to everyone who has helped/contributed.0 -

Have issued the Defendant's Bundle by email to the court and Gladstone's. Interestingly, Gladstone's email server was down early on Fri for some reason.
Need to prepare paper bundles over the weekend - one for delivery to the court on Mon morning.
What's the best way to bind 76 pages to make it as easy as possible for the judge to flick through the papers? Using a lever-arch file? I'm going to use some colour-coded/numbered separators for the 7 sections.0 -

I need to drop off our Defendant's Bundle tomorrow morning at the court. Just wanted to check what time I am likely to be able to do this. According to their website, these are the listed opening hours:Opening Times
Court building open: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Bailiff counter open: 8:30am to 10:30am
Court counter open: 10am to 2pm
Whoever mans that counter, are they going to be geared up to receive docs for the judge? Would I expect to receive some sort of acknowledgment/receipt? It's going to be clearly labelled with the case number.
Thanks for your advice.0 -
Yes they will be able to take it or show you the box to put it in. Some might issue a receipt, depends on the court.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not sure when you go to court but expect it is very soon.
We are all routing for you.
Good luck and you know where we are if you have any last minute questions.
Stay calm, arrive early, let's hope they discontinue which will help your counterclaim.
My personal thoughts->
I hope you manage to stick two fingers up at ES.
Nothing would give me greater after my 2 run-ins with them.
1-0 would be a good scoreline tomorrow night(Wed) and for you0
