Carers Allowance and going back to work

Good afternoon
I've got a job - and start next week. I currently receive carers allowance and though I will continue to be a carer, I will earn too much to be entitled to CA.
I've heard that as I will not be paid from my new job until the end of July, I may be entitled to receive CA until that date.
Does anyone have knowledge or experience of this?
Thanks!

Try asking https://www.carersuk.org/help-and-advice/talk-to-us
It is probably worthwhile (in addition to phoning in your change of circumstance), to write to the DWP informing them. Keep a copy & get proof of posting. Then you will have proof that you notified them (in case of any overpayments disputes).Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
