There's a bright future ahead, so aren't we best just getting on with it!
The pound falling was scaremongering - it happened.
The FTSE falling was scaremongering - it happened.
Multinationals scaling back in the UK was scaremongering - leaks are starting to be released with them planning exactly that.
The EU not bending to our every demand was scaremongering - the refusals to compromise are starting to appear.
You're living in cloud cuckoo land with the rest of the ignorant masses - only now you don't even have the excuse that it's speculation. It's happening right now but you still refuse to see it... No doubt it's best for you to live in your little dream world and just pretend the crisis isn't happening with a bright future on the horizon, it's not a particularly logical or helpful position for the rest of us.
All I can say is thank god I moved my money out before you and your ilk destroyed my homeland and am eligible for an Irish passport...0 -

I don't like arguing with angry people, but here's three current threads from the MSE Discussion Time forum which address both sides of the fence, and also the fence-sitters...

The FTSE finished up on the weekChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -

It's forbidden by the rules of this site for me to explain why they deserve to be "called a name" (though granted that's a bit of a cop-out given this very post would be enough to get me banned anyway!).
And no, name calling means you're rude and/or angry. While often repeated, that's an incredibly stupid point people make.Hope you enjoy your move to Ireland, believe housing is cheap but work might be a bit of a problem.

Probably for the best, as I don't like arguing with idiots either. And I'm certainly not going back to the cess-pit of racism, xenophobia, bigotry and general ignorance that is the Discussion Time board!0 -
