Travelling between Uk and Jersey the duty free allowance is 250g of tobacco. Likewise the same coming back to Uk.
Are you allowed to buy the 250g going to Jersey then another 250g coming back to Uk?
Thereby having total of 500g going through customs in Uk

Nope Coming in the maximum allowed from Jersey is250g total.
The first 250g is being imported into Jersey for personal use there0
