Will the losers accept the result and move on

Please no. Don't even mention it because some idiot will think it's a good idea.
Could be the best outcome.
A tie would show a significant proportion of the population has no confidence in the EU as it is. As much as they pontificate about no more concessions it could well be the ticket to actually push through some changes which guarantee there will be continual reform across all EU institutions.
I would then expect some people who voted leave to switch, because not all leave voters are racist/xenophobic.0 -
In a democracy you have to respect the result but I believe this is only the beginning.
There's a lot of disenchantment throughout Europe. It's not only the UK who has issues with the EU.
I doubt it will exist in its current form in 10 years. It would be to our advantage to leave now and have a head start on everyone else.If I don't reply to your post,

That's inevitable given that UKIP is a single-issue party. On every other issue they are as mad as a bottle of crisps.
For my money it'll be a narrowish Remain win, maybe 53 to 47, on a turnout of about 67%. That is in reality an emphatic Remain win because there'll be a 90% turnout among the disaffected and a 50% turnout among everyone else, giving the LEavers an apparently close result when it's really not. Every EU related deveopment for the next 10 years will then be claimed by Leave to have been hidden from the people before the Referendum.0 -

They're just anglophobes, that's all.0 -

Dear Britain, If you stay we'll even recognise the Wembley goal.
I guess you have to be of a certain age to understand that one.If I don't reply to your post,

I think the terrible way this referendum has been conducted from both sides, shows how crap we are at these things, and please can we have no more on anything else.0

Blimey, this could get serious....0 -
There could be some interesting outcomes due to 'foreign' voters such as me. I heard yesterday that there are 2,250,000 people living in Aus and NZ that can vote.
This seems a too high to me.
There are estimated to be 5.5 million UK citizens living abroad and eligible to vote (must not have been away for more than 15 years).
The vast majority of poms in Australia will have been there more than 15 years.
106,000 overseas voters registered to vote in the 2015 election - its expected to be higher for the referendum, but enough to swing it ?
Doubtful.0 -

Doubtful.
The ABC reckons that there are that number of voters potentially able to vote in the election in Aus + NZ. You'd be absolutely amazed by the number of British accents you hear over here.
For example The Boy's soccer team has 12 members: 9 playing + 12 subs. Three of the dads qualify to vote.
People keep banging on about how the UK doesn't know how many immigrants there are. Why would you feel confident that they know how many emigrants there are?0
