Yeah thanks. One of those is more or less just what I need.

It's just the stock that seems to be a problem at the moment. Still waiting for a call back about it.

You can fix a cam lock to any thickness door from 1mm sheet steel upwards.

Cost is a few quid upwards and all you need is a round hole drilled in the door, use the 'spiked washer' to stop the case barrel rotating, and you may need a small metal bracket or cut a slot in the frame for the bolt to hook onto.

Have you tried eBay/freecycle/gumtree etc? No idea where you are but a quick search threw this up:
