i was given a halifax student account, and have spent the last 9 years trying to get away from them. imho you're best off rid.Trying to be good, not always succeeding. :A:beer:0

Nationwide would not give dd a debit card on her account as she did not use it enough, probably because she had no debit card ! Took her to Halifax branch for a student account but the computer said no. Apparently she should have had an account with them since birth. I have an account there and it is in credit. Finally got a student account on line with Natwest.0
