Santander Select

There are many better places to get a return on £60k than a bank account from funds to ISAs to individual investing options. Although savings at a rate of 6% is hard to beat for part of the money.ceredigion wrote: »As, has bean said there is little to no benefit to the gold card. For me it is purely a result of the way I organise my finances. NatWest and HSBC Advance may suit you but I can't get a return on 60K there.0 -

In all honesty Santander Select isn't worth the effort of transferring £5k a month for a gold card as you still pay £5 a month for the cashback rewards which NatWest/RBS beat and the rest you can still get as a non-Select customer.
I went over the pros and cons and I'd prefer NatWest Rewards as well as HSBC Advance for savings rates than to go Select with Santander.
Out of interest (excuse the pun): how much interest do Natwest and HSBC pay you for £20K? Or for more than £20K, if for any reason you have more than 1 1-2-3 account?0
