Ok, so here we go.... all trott down to the local school/hall to vote, but what happens then?
Is it like normal elections where we get to see area's 'declaring' throughout the night or do we just get an IN/OUT answer, or numbers etc...
I have a valid reason - I'm happy to stay up and watch this unfold (and be disappointed I suspect), but not if its not entertaining, as I've heard enough political waffle....

There are 12 constituencies or electoral regions in the UK for the purposes of European elections. There will be a separate declaration of the results for each of these 12.

P.S. I ain't staying up for it. I'm more than happy with last night's Euro result thank you very much.0 -

To add to that, my understanding is that each 'constituency' will give the number of in/out votes, and these will then all be added together to give the overall result for the entire nation.0 -

.... so it could be worth watching unfold if we get it in dribs and drabs?!
This could be like watching an England game all over again!0 -
Friday will be an interesting, and potentially sickening, day
I think ill close myself off from the media if the vote is to remain, not sure I can put up with DC and GO being smug all day, they have really annoyed me throughout this referendum build up0 -
Well the polls close at 10pm I believe which is 7am my time on Friday morning with a declaration expected at about 7-8am your time which is 4-5pm mine. That sounds a lot like my working day hours. Time to listen to the old cats whisker to hear a lot of tired Poms talking !!!!!!.0

See http://researchbriefings.parliament.uk/ResearchBriefing/Summary/CBP-7588
The count will be conducted in 382 counting areas, not 12.0
