  • Hi there

Given the question of whether a PDA is worth getting, here are my thoughts...

Had a PDA for a few years (iPAQ). When it came to the new computer, I had trouble getting it synced properly. It went back in its box and I've never used it since.

The trouble is not the system, it's the mindset. If you're organised, whether you use paper or digital means, you'll be organised. If you're not, then a PDA won't help much (although, by dint of the fact you'll have spent money on it you will feel like you ought to use it).

Perhaps a PDA/Phone would be a good option. I think personal organisation and telecoms make much better 'convergent' bedfellows than picture messaging and phones... take a look at the XDA and others. The Blackberry is also a great 'in between' choice.
