sports direct darlington smart parking

I went to Sports Direct car park this evening, and unfortunately I input a U instead of a L into the ticket machine. I paid my money and was only there for a short period of time. Will I get a parking ticket , even though I paid the money, and if so, how do I appeal, as it was a genuine error.

I hope you appealed and easily won at POPLA by using our templates; better than this story with his son 'helping him' appeal about an alleged one minute overstay that cannot be the case (this is also Sports Direct at Darlington):

So easy to beat Smart at POPLA just by researching how to appeal as keeper, not driver. Very, very simple and nowt to panic about.
