EO line and fibre query

I've just checked our line on the Digital Scotland website. The results are confusing as, on the map, our area is showing as green which means 'accepting orders' but there's another message saying:
As our current speed is 1.8mbps on a good day.
Are there any broadband techies who can unravel my confusion please?
You are connected to XXX via an 'EO (Exchange Only) line'. This means your line is connected directly to the exchange rather than through a green roadside cabinet. It is more challenging to bring fibre to properties served by EO lines and so can take longer. We are busy working on solutions and have already connected tens of thousands of EO lines across Scotland to the fibre network.
As our current speed is 1.8mbps on a good day.

Thanks for your reply.
I understand the problems with the EO lines although we are probably the last house on the line.
My confusion was because the map legend says 'accepting orders' whilst the checker said 'no'. All the building here will be EO too.0 -

If the comments on the website I linked to are anything to go by, it appears that even immediate neighbours might be linked to a cabinet even if your own line isn't. So it could be that your postcode area is accepting orders, but only for the people who are connected to a green cabinet rather than directly to the exchange.0
