Hi. Just a quick one - do these George Foreman grills have an on/off switch?
One problem I've found with all sandwich toasters is that they don't have that feature. Thanks.
Edit: At the moment I actually make toasties the old skool way - in a frying pan.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -

I've been considering this one - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00KM15VWY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2QNNENVCGZIJ6&coliid=I2L2EGA072NIUU
Not cheap thoughI bought the Breville VST 041 deep sandwich toaster from Amazon last year, found at £27.59 far better buy than my previous supermarket cheapies.
I've been looking at the breville deep fill too.
I like appliances to earn their space in the kitchen cupboard though, I'm wondering if I should just use my tefal contact grill (like a Georgie but better - the wire comes out & the whole lot goes in the dishwasher).0 -
The hot plates on the Breville clip off and can go in the dishwasher, one of the things I hated with the cheaper ones was having to scrape the cheese off the plates whilst still in the toaster.0

You can actually get little bags which you put the sandwich in and then put that in a normal toaster!
My colleague at work uses them - they're really good! :j
(And it's a much cheaper alternative!):beer:0 -

If they fit ....
I bought some of these once, as you do, "to try" ... but they're too big for my toaster.
For me, I used to like to use a low/dry frying pan as you can fill it up and it all stays flat.
These days I just make toast, lay the two bits out in the microwave topped with cheese, nuke for 20-30 seconds, lay one on the other, cut, scoff.0 -

Can't get enough filling in the bread if I use the bags that's another reason I bought the deep fill toaster, Gready or what0 -
