Good Luck to redruby for tomorrow.

A load of flat pack bookshelves have just arrived and a new mirror for the living room. Builders have looked below the staircase as I decided to extend the new flooring underneath there and have found that it is not properly pegged in and supported so that is going to be fixed as well as I don't want an accident.

The new kitchen is now nearly finished and looks so nice I am scared to use it ;) Electrician and carpet fitter come tomorrow so it should be hectic. The problems we found so far are so dangerous I am beginning to wonder if it is some kind of booby trap set by previous owner and am relieved I decided to get everything checked out properly.

The G tech and steamer sound great and I hope they are as good as they look and sound. I treated myself to a robot vacuum and steam cleaner which are still in their boxes but I got them in the sales so don't feel too guilty.

    Hugs to all

Great excitement GERS! A text from GTech this morning to say my upright and multi will be delivered tomorrow! I only ordered them yesterday so that's what I call service! I have also ordered (after much deliberation!) a Hoover 2 in 1 steam cleaner but, though it said next day delivery, I haven't had a definite date yet. I won't know which to play with first!
Brilliant news - you'll love both the Gtechs I'm sure. My steamer is still in the box though everytime I use the downstairs loo I see the bits at the wall / floor joints that need cleaning. Maybe tomorrow!

I did a little shopping, mostly black pepper and fly spray though I did pick up some YS strawberries too. Then a little light vacuuming, just because I could and it was so easy to do. Then a neighbour (from about two miles away) was walking her dog and called in so we sat in the garden for ages. The wind was bad here too but sometimes the sun came out and made it worthwhile. We just nattered for ages - I haven't done that for a long long time so really enjoyed it though I now need warming up.

Elona - your kitchen sounds really lovely, as I've only got a very small one I'm quite envious.

    Evening everyone

Busy day today helping dsd move house. I'm exhausted. Back out tomorrow as travelling to visit family for a few days, then off to Spain at weekend to celebrate a friends birthday.

OS today kitchen cleaned after dinner. Car emptied of camping things at last.

Redruby - good luck for tomorrow, I'm sure you will do great.

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care
