We are a family of 5; eldest of the 3kids is 6; the youngest is in cloth washable nappies. We pay £28 a month and we've built up a small amount of credit.

I pay £18.40 a month here currently. They normally review it every 6 months. I live on my own, though my partner is often round and sometimes uses the shower and obviously uses the toilet.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Water/sewerage charges in some areas can cost over three times as much as other areas. So, with respect, that information is not much use unless you state who supplies your water, and how much water you use.

Having to pay for Surface Water Drainage, or not, can also add a large sum to the annual bill. Up to £80 in my area(Severn Trent) and more in other areas I believe.

We pay United Utilities £42 a month! :-( (2 adults and 3 young children) .....and we really try to be careful. Wish we weren't on a meter....

I'm with United Utilities and i think i should get myself a meter. Without it my latest bill is £726.04 for the year.
