Online Transfer Between Halifax Accounts

Just got online banking with the Halifax and want to transfer some funds from my Halifax Liquid Gold account to my newly opened Halifax Current account - all seems pretty straightforward but can anyone tell me how quick the transfer is?
Also would I be able to withdraw the cash from the current account via ATM straight away?

should be instant0

Transfer £1 - and you'll see.0

If it's not instant I will be astonished, and I would assume that there is some technical fault to blame. Although as grumbler says do it with £1 first to be on the safe side.0

Are you sure? Where can I find one of these?0 -
I could not find this account on the Halifax website. Could you please post a link to it?marina0403 wrote: »Halifax accounts have some good offers in the present economic climate, such as their Web Saver Reward account which offers 2.80% interest APR
It's not £1,000 but £750. You also need two direct debits.marina0403 wrote: »and their Reward Current Account, which gives you £5 a month so long as you pay in £1000.0 -

Halifax accounts have some good offers in the present economic climate, such as their Web Saver Reward account which offers 2.80% interest APR, and their Reward Current Account, which gives you £5 a month so long as you pay in £1000.
The Web Saver Reward hasn't been available for several years. Halifax downgrade their closed accounts from time to time and I believe that Web Saver Reward accounts were moved to Instant Saver, which only pays 0.25%.
The Reward Current Account only needs £750 paying in every month, not £1000.0 -
Though you'll need £1000 paying in if you want the reward on the clarity card as well.0

I was going to correct but see its already been done, I thought I had gone back to the early 2000s too.
**Edit you wont be able to transfer online from savings accounts that have a passbook which is passbook saver and some liquid gold accounts, they only accept payments in and you cant transfer money out online, same for children's accounts which may still be on your profile if they were opened in adults name in trust for the child.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards.
