NatWest Student Account Debit Card

When I set up my student account with Natwest I was told that they had to send the card to my branch rather than my home.
My friend went to the branch and they had the card . This is a strange practice. NatWest said she should have got a letter informing her of this, maybe they haven't sent it yet.
Thanks for all your input - you've been a great help."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

We're not really snowed under at all, at least in the branch I'm working in. Its now standard practice for all cards and cheque books to be sent into branch for collection by the account holder.0

It's a shame the member of staff going through my friend's application didn't tell her. Anyway, it's all good, she has the card."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."
