Tigerlily - better sooner than later - although from the last pic of her I think it was exactly the right time.
I am sure she had happy years with you.
Apart from the ears she looks rather like my first dog Anni! temperament she looks like she was a wonderful, intelligent, kind dog.
My deepest sympathies - its awful to have to PTS your best friend, but, its the kindest thing you can do for them.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately, I know from experience how hard it is to make that decision. We lost our little cat 12 days ago. She was fit and well up to just a few days before but went downhill very quickly and we had to let her go, for her sake. Although she was aprox 15, we had her for only 3 years and wish it could have been longer.

RIP Chaya, run free at the bridge sweet girl.

A sad decision for you but undoubtedly the best for your lovely dog- and of course it was the right thing to do. We have that gift , we can let our pets pass on without suffering.

Thinking of you, and hoping that some day in the future you will be able to give another deserving homeless hound a place in your life.

    Take care.

Thanks all, the last photo was when I got her, sorry! I wouldn't let her go that thin.
