I switched to SSE the other week, before that point i was with BT and before them Talk Talk both on fibre and both no problems downloading at all
Since i switched to SSE my speeds in the evening are dire and im being throttled badly, a 1gb file will take over an hour
Now here the problem , SSE want me to do speed tests on the BT Wholesale site and log them, but they always come back with excellent results, however i run tests at various other sites and they always come back way lower, and the download times back this up
I presume Daisy who run SSE's network are letting traffic through to skew the results
Just looking for any advice really to get out of this hell hole
the pictures pretty well sum it up, low points are between 6 and midnight, i get between 256kpbs and 9.7mpbs then in the day its around 60mpbs

Put a official complaint in and run loads of speed tests daily , i recommend
http://testmy.net/
http://speedof.me/
http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html
http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/
They have let me leave without penalty but taken me a while0 -
At least you have now got far enough down the road that you are able to now leave penalty free though :beer:0
