Rod Stewart Concert

I know quite a lot of people who went on Tuesday. I'm pretty sure I've heard that the support act is Rod's daughter and her band, I've been told they're not up to much but guess that's all down to personal preference!
yes it is.. they all start somewhere.. usually when there are concerts here they have a local band as support too.. which is a nice touch. They aren't awful .. high praise from my family!
My mother made us laugh though, when we saw guns n roses in London they had Avenged Sevenfold as support and they were absolutely disgusting and were booed and had stuff thrown at them and people turned their backs... 'you don't hear of them any more' she says.. no.. the drummer died, the bassist OD'd on cough syrup and was in a mental institution so on and so forth... they didn't have a good few years..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Anyone been to any of the recent Rod Stewart concerts? If so does he have a support act? When roughly did he come on?
We are going to see him tonight but it's in Kilmarnock a small town with little to do. We had booked in for lunch and we're just going to put of time but its dreich and could make for a very long day
We are travelling through from the Edinburgh area and now thinking of going a bit later!
may see you there, we are getting a lift as we live in the next town. His daughter Ruby by Rachel Hunter is his support and shes not a bad singer.
Here is a link to parking and road closures round about Rugby park

Saw this too late.
The weather has been OK - even quite warm at times - and you could have visited a few places in and around Kilmarnock. Dundonald Castle is a personal favourite, but there are other places.
Hope you enjoy the concert - you'll need plenty of patience for getting out of the car park, and the town, after the concert is finished. You should see the traffic when the football's on!0 -
Ruby is his daughter by Kelly Emberg and Ive heard she isnt a bad singer at all.
Ive seen him 3 times, twice in recent years and both times he was really good.
The support for the first was 'The Pretenders' and at the last concert it was Tiny Tempah.
He is very good with an audience, the first time was an outdoor concert and he said that as it was raining he would play right through without a break as we were all getting soaked and still did two and a half hours. He slipped on stage and cut his leg but still carried on singing as a first aider bandaged it up. He changed the playlist to do 'The first Cut is the Deepest' as he was having it bandaged.
So much better than the very first time in 1972/3 when he was so drunk he didnt know the words to anything. I was so disappointed.0
