Out of curiosity, do you buy your weekly shop in on a Friday? I usually go on a Sunday but I can see the attraction of knowing your cupboards are full over the weekend.
Hope you're well.0 -
Hi Speky, we usually do our food shop either Friday after work or Saturday morning. We do our weekly meal plan before we go after looking through the cupboards/freezer etc and working out whose where and who needs a meal.
My eldest son comes over Fri-Sun (he’s been living with his dad as it’s closer to his job) and DP daughter sometimes stays here on a Saturday so we need to be organised. Although sayng that sometimes we cook a meal for 5 and everyone decides to go out/ eat a takeaway or have something delivered!!! Then me and DP end up eating left overs for 3 days. :rotfl:0 -
I think I may adopt a similair approach actually, one less thing to do at the weekend.
Meant to ask, how's the toothache?0 -
Speky my tooth is great! Root canal worked a treat.
Work has been crazy busy, parents evening was good and my Year 1’s did a fabulous class worship for their parents.
Next week is a lesson observation with the head and maths coordinator so I’m trying to plan an interesting lesson. Plus we have started learning our Christmas nativity songs.
It’s a busy time for primary schools.0 -
Trying not to drown under a mountain of work. Fed up of working until 7-8pm every night. Once my lesson observation is over on Thursday I’m easing off for a few days.
