Good afternoon ...feeling very muggy here :(been on a little jaunt on the train today and popped into poundland....noticed they had a kilo of Gran sugar or Silver spoon icing sugar for the obvious £1...not sure if that is any use to the bakers ....popped into the Catholic church where Mum and Dad got married in 1944 and had a coffee and tasty sandwich ...for much less than the local coffee shops in the town ..also a very pleasant unhurried experience ..even had a nice chat with a handsome Irishman:T

Scrap that. I'm in a good mood again!!!

I had thought I paid it off in feb but I had transposed some of the numbers and accidently left a balance of £14ish. Damn dyslexia

Anyhow I just rang Barclaycard and the lovely man on the phone cancelled it all off including the balance!! Feel much better now. Been trying to login since I found an email from them in junk 2 hours ago. Phew

I think we are all checking our interest on savings today.

I registered all of mine in May 15 for paying gross interest.
    The only one I couldn't was the Ns&I over 65 guaranteed growth.So I am owed £80.

They are now paying gross on these accounts from 6th April 16.

    You need a password manager

    http://www.roboform.com/lp?frm=rfp-023&affid=12e01&gclid=CLrtmK3Bm84CFWwq0wodbewGJg

I started off with the free version

but then because I am subscribed to numerous websites I went on to get the Roborm everywhere which has an annual payment - I have it on my phone and ipad for the odd time I am away but need to check something - these are passnumber protected so I only have one number to remember instead of dozens

Mainly I use it on the main computer and anything sensitive has an additional secure code

so you still have the R85 forms on all of your savings - I've been dithering about this but I think I am going to do it with all of mine anyway.
Its the annual savers that you have to renew every year that are annoying - having to set up the new SO and a new R85
