He will start training in a few weeks so he can learn to fly properly, he nosedives at the mo! I hope those that I have upset will see from my picture updates that he is one of our family and will be loved x Just like Mr Spids that cost me just over 500 quid at Christmas for his broken leg!! x
Sarah I believe that wild life should be wild but I also know that there is occasion for some to be helped to survive, if the choice was between life in a loving family or death I know which I prefer, I also know that many who love wildlife believe in the natural selection process, ultimately I respect your decision to preserve life and we are all entitled to our opinionThe person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -
Waitrose GLITCH on meal deal.
I've been taking a look at the Waities new meal deal and putting it in a HD.
You can get voucher code for £20 off a £100 spend on your first 5 orders so you may have this offer already or if not sign up (again).
The meal deal goes in the basket at full price "Discount will not be shown in your shopping trolley but will be applied when payment is processed on the day of delivery" If you put in two of the chickens (not available in my store) with a bottle of wine and a side the full price is about £20. So 5 meal deals = £100 less £20 voucher code less about £50 discount for the meal deals. £30 ish paid :T:T:T.
I've done 3 meal deals with some other shopping.:):)
Offer on until 2 Aug.

We were sat in the lounge a couple of weeks ago when I heard a tawny owl, so I shot out of the front door just as it swooped down our drive over our heads. You cannot put a price on moments like those (so long as you like Owls obviously) we have a barn owl that sits on the telegraph pole outside our house. I used to see it every night whilst I was having my treatment as I spent most of the night awake but I have missed it lately.
Good morning, I'd we have owls around us too, it was very regular around 10.20 at night flying from one tree to another, could set your watch, a few years ago we were puppy sitting for a tiny shih tzu and it was out on the grass on an extending lead when the owl swooped down right above it, I honestly think he was planning on taking the puppy:eek:The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -

Even with our MSE No Callers sign - Jehovah's Witnesses are at the door & Fourp being very polite, but why do they think they don't count?
You could try asking them if their religion includes respecting people and, whey they inevitably say yes, ask them why, then, they are not respecting your no callers request.0 -
The weather has been resonably kind to me, so I have been working nearly every day.:D
I am still having tests done, but it is now looking likely that I haven't got myeloma, so a big relief.:)
This summer seems to be flying by, so only about 2 more months to go, until I will be able to keep up on here!:j
So glad that that you have had some reprieve but a few hurdles still to face and that must be worrying
Take care0 -

Just catching up, I would say more of a thriller than horror.I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
