Morning hg......keep your eye on the W comparisons everyone.

    It's Toblerone time:D

    Thanks Bajjo:T:T

Toblerone are still showing as £3 for me on Waoites website:(:(. But going in basket at 75p. I would urge caution if buying at A until comparison price is confirmed.

It's a NSD for me today as I am carless otherwise I'd pick one up to check.

My Boden parcel is on its way with a "free" top:)

I had £14.30 worth of vouchers, free delivery and the balance of £7.20 paid for from PayPal courtesy of Shopmium:T

    Oh and TCB too:T:T

    very neat!

I am chasing my stray 58p from TCB which is still loitering in the pending column a month later. I've tried to raise a support ticket but the system wont let me but reading the auto message again it seems to imply you have to wait 4 weeks after the estimated date - ie 8 weeks in total - I was hoping that it would be through before the end of July so I can convert the last few pence to cc points :(

Have a lovely holiday bubbs X

Small GLITCH on Treseme hairspray 500 ml they are £5.25 on boots with £2.25 off but if you add 3 to the basket all three will come to £3.75 plus if you spend £20 on hair care there is 10% off :)

There are quite a few things both in the 3 for 2 and reduced, it's just a matter of finding them in stock - a few say stock to come soon :)

There's a similar thing with the 342 vitamins, nothing amazing but if you use them it might be worth a look (eg wellwoman max - was £19.95 each () now 3 for £24.70/Boots Glucosamine Sulphate 1500mg was £30.65 each, now 3 for £38.31)

I had a Marks mailing last week which included one with a code for 500 points for a purchase of over £5. Fortunately I remembered it last night as it was the final usage day.

I was going to get the usual knicker set but instead I got some cotton leggings - on the principle of one out and one in I def have one pair only fit for the charity bag collection and also I live at least 8 months of the year in them so not really a wild extravagance.

I use to use my Marks credit card to make sure I got the points - it specified this so no point in using the gift card or the credit notes. Also until I can def see the 500 extra points on my Marks account I cant wear them so hopefully on the next statement.

annoyingly I put Friday as the collection date, not remembering that you have to collect after lunch and not in the morning when I am in town ...

I've had 170 points on my Marks account for ages so hopefully with these exta 500 I will get some vouchers next quarter :T

I have been watching the shampoos but they have been saying stock coming for a while, same as the hairspray but saw that two had come in, I did look at the vitamins but couldn't find a lot but like you say if you use them then any saving is good x

Wish my hallway was as big as that
Good morning emerald. Yes it is quite big but not very :money:when it needs new carpet. Had to buy 4m x4m just for the hallway, then another 5m x 4m for the stairs and landing  Good job it doesn't need replacing very often.

Do the people with striped carpets have straight stairs? I would love it but our stairs turn 90 degrees three stairs from the top and I wonder if it would make the stripes go funny.
Our stairs are straight but I'm sure that a good fitter would be able to make a turn in them look good. Just pop in to a carpet shop and have a word with them and see what they think as I am sure they will have done them before:)

Fathers day - eldest child left her ipad here on the last visit so we took it down to London and had a nice afternoon in London with her and an Italian meal so we had a sort of premature Fathers day with her. It was the week OH was having medication issues but he rallied enough and we had a gloriously sunny afternoon out :j
Eldest son is training down south but he was back up for the weekend as he and GF were going to a party on Friday night locally (he ended up going on his own as GFs flight was delayed and she got bumped off her connecting flight so it was 1 ocolock Saturday before she got home)
There was some discussion about going to Cosford air show which was on Sunday but its a scary £26.50 a ticket now in advance. Eldest son seemed to think it might be free for him and maybe immediate family but I don't think that was the case.
In the end we all went to Dunham Massey and had a proper old fashioned family picnic on the grass :j
so at least Dad had 2 half days out and I think it all worked out very well in the end.
Youngest son, well he is in a world of his very own but I think he must have seen various FB posts to jog his memory so he sent his Dad a very odd message late Sunday - he normally ignores all family events and birthdays now.

I think it's 101 for a local phonecall to the police that costs 15p

Are you doing improvised Father's Day presents mhoc? I found a code for a free snap fish card this week so Dad has a pretty spectacular card to get up to.
Other than that he's had a new iPad and a fishing rod this month so I really don't see a need for any present :o:p :rotfl::rotfl:

it's spatchcock poussin for dinner tomorrow so I can't even offer to cook :o

I'm sure he feels appreciated anyway :o:p

so we are in the very odd place now in the year with our family because there are no family events now until the week before Christmas - eldest sons birthday so 6 months without anything on the calendar

All the various birthdays now are between December and March and then there is Christmas, new Year, Easter, Mothers Day etc and the tail ender is Fathers day in June (also used to be my Dads birthday in June)

so you would think having this long gap in the middle I would be incredibly organised with the correct gifts for everyone on the right occasion for the various birthdays - 6 months to organise Christmas and Birthday gifts for the 4 blokes in the family - if it was 6 years it would still not be enough time :rotfl:
