Oooh, could have a page to myself, everyone seems to have nodded off :D:D

Black dogs are notoriously difficult to photograph, so quite pleased with this one, burst of flash makes all the difference.

    Focus on the biccie.........

we have the same problem with our black cats, very difficult - we got a good one of Ronnie recently while he was lying hidden in long grass with very vivid green grass and just his ears and eyes peeping out
one cat is black but the other fades in the sun and he is more of a deep chocolate brown so they don't look good together in a photo

I've hurt my arm somehow. Some of you'll know that my elbow is pinned, well about an inch below the elbow joint there is a small swelling which hurts to the touch :( Very much doubt I could have busted a screw. Gonna keep an eye on it.

I'd always planned to get the metal removed but the only thing that is putting me off is the time out of action for the stitches to heal.
Good afternoon Westie DDalas DH fell off a ladder many years ago and had metal put in his leg which was supposed to be removed and never did  but they say as you get older it could turn arthritic..just waiting for Lala to pick up all the stuff I have sorted for the bootie tomorrow ..hoping it ain't too hot for Nannylala ;)

Afternoon all, just on the train home.
    99p, train tickets to Southampton.....
Definitely look at splitting, I look at all the combinations that I can have (by checking where the train stops) and work it from there, I find the split ticket sites arnt that good.
Best bit of advice though is get a 2together rail card, it gets you a third off rail travel. They cost you about £17 but you will save more than that on one trip. You can also get them with cc vouchers.
From London to Southampton and back, if the times are suitable, use mega train. Tickets from a few quid if you get them just after midnight on the day of release, and they use the fast trains too.
If you don't fancy the thought of changing in London, you can get trains all the way from Durham/Newcastle direct to Southampton (and probably from places in Scotland too, not sure where snouts you are) but I like the break Inbetween.
What ship is it you are thinking of going on?
Oh, and I have a special pic to post for zippy later ;)

Oh, also 99p, check out Bon voyage for the price of the cruise, I have just booked 2 cruises through them and they beat the usual suspects prices on both.

    :EasterBun afternoon folks :D

Rhubarb wine is on the go - I came home with 10kg of it yesterday and that was AFTER I'd topped and tailed it :rotfl: so I've got three lots on the go now. Hopefully it'll produce 18 bottles of lovely pink stuff :j

Someone in work gave me some beetroot the other day so I've got a chocolate and beetroot cake in the oven as we speak :EasterBun

MG and son are down Portland way today having been to Lyme Regis and are headed towards Bournemouth :)

I should be doing housework. Instead, I'm sat here watching the athletics :rotfl::rotfl:

On way to mums and on way back I kept pulling foot out of Crocs and feeling the pavement checking temperature . I read on facebook if its hot could burn dogs paw/pads. I didn't burn my foot so our Poppy was ok. Bet she wondered what I was doing lol.

    Happy Birthday Ladyshopper :bdaycake:

Good morning everyone :hello: Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine.
Sending hugs to TS & AJ :grouphug:
Rhosynbach hope that the sun is shining for your DD and that you all have a wonderful day, especially after all the hard work you have put in organising the catering :A Sarahdol if you are in Porthmadog perhaps you can give us a weather update :D
Hope the cycling event goes well TM:)
Have a good day everyone. I'm off to town soon to wander around to try and get some ideas for presents for DD2's 21st in 2 weeks. All she says she wants is money but I would like to get her a present as a keepsake

You could have come to Shrewsbury with me but I just presumed you would be meeting your mum. Busy is an understatement lol. I made myself go some where else I would be doing more jobs..
