Was raining earlier as we were going into the cinema but stopped again when we came out
Oooo just had thunder and lighting now my Dd got her nose pressed against the window to watch
We've had thunder and lightening too. I got to thinking about my mother in law....a fabulous lady.....who had a saying for every eventuality.
She would have thought it was terrible bad luck to have a bird in the house. She was horrified when I bought curtains with birds on when we were first married:o:)
She had lots of sayings about thunder too....so to have both together would have horrified her. Bless her:ATo do is to be. Rousseau

No thunder here, no rain either since last night, even though OH tried to use it as an excuse to avoid doing something! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

When I saw it I thought that would be ideal for asparagus
We've got 2 E:).
One is out the front of the house painted white with geraniums and nasturtiums in. This one is slightly damaged but serves a purpose. I have a separate raised bed for asparagus but I tend not to get a brilliant crop....might rethink this year. Leeks went in today. I'm hoping for lots of rain to make them stand up:)
I'm looking through my flower seeds at the minute .....really excited about trying some of the seeds I got RTC from Wilko last year:)To do is to be. Rousseau

I need to say, without hesitation, that I haven't got any special spoons for anything:rotfl:
In fact since DD came back home, I have a shortage of teaspoons....goodness knows where they get to:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau
