Talking about dogs, I would always go for a mongrel if we had one.
Reason being when I was (a lot) younger we had a soft haired wheaten terrier. He was very highly strung, father would not put him in a kennel outside but he had to be kept in one room overnight because he kept messing overnight. Just got him settled down and happy (took years and a totally different approach) when father married the most evil stepmother you can get, she brought her dog that was allowed anywhere in the house, but Fred was banned from going upstairs, he had done so all his life so he basically rebelled. Father rang me up and said either you take him or we will have him destroyed, never thought he was being serious but also (as he well knew) there was no way we could take him. He had him destroyed that night under the orders of the cow, she didn't want him upsetting her dog.
That woman destroyed our family, but started by destroying a lovely dog that simply needed to be understood.

I don't like your step-mother!
I did in the beginning, she was nice. Until she married my father, then she changed.
I have to say something that actually shocked me. My brother sent the police to inform me she had died, I had to contain myself until I had got rid of them. I cheered. It is not nice, it is not big, but I was so happy she had gone. There is a lot more to it, she even tried to split up myself and my husband, did manage to split up any relationships her kids had. She poisoned my relationship with my father, she listened in to phone conversations and had him add on bits at the end. I was informed I needed to lose 10 stone quickly, when I argued it would kill me his answer was that she knew best as she was a medical professional, he was also informed that I did not need to wear my glasses all the time, also backed up by the fact she was a medical professional. If I did not wear my glasses I would barely be able to see.
And the worst thing of it all, she was a apparently a dentist, and before those comments were made I had not seen my father or her for quite a few years.
Anyway, I shall not go on about it, sorry about the rant!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Good Morning!
This is a new series of 4 parts, even more surreal than the original Twin Peaks. Very confusing, and I may have made it worse by nodding off once or twice.
I think I may give this one a miss!:D:D:D

Can anyone help with a blackbox question??
DS2 has got his test in a couple of weeks. We are looking to get a car with blackbox fitted.
His job starts at 6am, but the insurance companies say curfews between 7am and 10pm.
What happens as he will be using it before.0
