The other day I didn't get up until 11.30am, and there was a Sunday a few months ago I fell asleep watching Monkey Business. I woke at 6o'clock, jumped out of bed and banging on ds4s bedroom door telling him to get up for work. It was 6pm not am

It's the old arthritis and COPD I'm going round in cupirckes. My legs are in so much pain and feet are up like ruddy footballs.

I shouldn't moan though, there are people out there suffering more than me xx

Sorry you are suffering, hope you get some relief soon x

    Hi Dax1978

My teenage sons swear by Got2be hairspray, it is the one:rotfl:

I bought a can of this when we were away, I'd left my usual at home  I'd buy it again as I found it has a great hold and brushes out easily:)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I wanted to upgrade to add tv package to my broadband and tv.
Called them and offered me it for over £100
PLUS line rental. I am not in a contract.... apparently at start of call.
Mentioned new customers get it for £85 inclusive.
Put through to retentions and they tried to tell me they would reduce it by 20%, complete bull as they hadn't included line rental, which I paid by the saver method (pay 12 months in advance for a reduced amount) , so still over £100. Then said I want to cancel and I asked about the line saver refund, aye there's the rub... It IS a contract that is non refundable :eek: . I said to still go ahead and cancel with 30 days notice. This non refundable "male bovine excretions" was not mentioned, must be in small print, so will fight it.

So now have 30 days to get a package from someone else.

Will start searching and also cashback and free gifts etc.
So I have said I would cancel if not reduced and stuck to my guns. BANG!

    Well done braveheart.

I suspect more and more will be leaving them, they take customers for granted and they are getting far too expensive.

We intend to at least cut down to broadband only next year, and hopefully swap to someone else, we do not need the TV, they proved that by removing the non-freeview stations from our package without recompense. They expected us to complain then pay extra to get the stations back. They were wrong.

We intend to start checking out the broadband and landline (if still needed, hope it is as main purpose is for mother-in-law, don't want her having to pay to ring mobiles and it gives us free landline calls at the weekend at the moment) later in the year, for TV we will be getting a freeview play box.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

They had some on MSM the other day showing as 50p for a four pack but when I clicked through to see it, they all showed as £1.50, so I just assumed the 50p was a typo.

Think I'll go find a box that I can put on the bed and put my feet up for a while. It's nice and comfy with pillows on top of it :rotfl:
