Thanks for the info on the phone. Looking like the Moto g Plus from Argos.
Curlygirl, have you tried Sheila's Wheels House Insurance?
I have been with them for a few years and each year cancel the renewal and take out a new policy to get cashback via Quidco. Has worked every time.
Excellent cover, with Legal Protection and Emergency Cover Free for first year, also a reason to not auto-renew. Always found to be cheapest for what I want. Have used Emergency Cover, excellent service and doesn't have any impact on no claims.
Had a run-in with neighbour at the back of my house while in the garden earlier on.
They have a Bullmastiff dog which scares the life out of me.
Trying to do a bit of gardening it kept barking really aggressively at me:mad:
Heard Female call him in a few times, but dog carried on.
Eventually male came out and I could see him through a gap in the fence, so I politely asked him if he could stop his dog barking at me every time I was in the garden as it scared me.
Reply was you obviously don't like dogs (I do)
Told me it was my fault for gardening when his dog was out!
Told him his dog was intimidating, reply - it's a guard dog what do you expect:eek:
Pointed out I had every right to be in my garden without feeling threatened by his dog:(
Told me he had never heard anything so ridiculous and he was going to leave the dog out every time I was out there.
I know Bullmastiffs are classed as dangerous dogs, but just going to check if they are on any banned lists.0 -
Evening peeps.
Home Insurance has increased by £60 this year, now over 250.
Existing insurer won't budge after being loyal for 9 years so I now have the problem of sourcing someone new!
Any help appreciated please?
I have found ESure pretty good - remember TCB and you also get free Legal cover and Home Emergencies for the first year. (You can work the system if you like by alternating with DH as the proposer).ELITE 5:2

All very quiet at mine, I was going to babysit as DD had VIP tickets for Take That at the Echo Arena tonight, but quite understandably it has been postponed out of respect for Manchester.
So I have been sorting out 3 months worth  of paperwork and receipts, very dull but it needed doing.
Determined now to get cash out instead of using debit card, then I can ditch the receipts on the same day.
