That's the hard part to explain. You bite into them like a large tomato, but the taste is very sweet. They have to be ripe to eat as I've had terrible taste from unripe ones. Soft to touch is best. I always eat them whole, just taking bites out of them, but can be cut into fruit salad etc

If they are very sweet , may spike my sugar then:o but unless i try i wont know:p
The curly wurly i ate earlier:eek: sent my sugar rather high:rotfl: wont have another , thats the first choc i have had since diagnosed, thankfully its back to normal now:T:T

Oh, I thought it was you who told me about being able to do them in the microwave. Its been a revelation to me, saves having to heat up any oil, just a quick wipe with some oil, then a 30 second buzz.

It was me that told you. But I don't think they taste as good. :o

Hi all, what a sad sad day, woke early this morning for work 4.30, so had a little look on Facebook, wished I hadn't. only heard bits during the day at work as I'm in and out the van all day. Heart breaking for all involved.

I bought curly wurlys in one of my shops today (almost time to check them) and I confess that I have just this minute eaten one :o And I do mean this minute, that's all it took :o I am a naughty naughty vegan and bad bad dieter :(:(

But they were always my fave chocolate treat, well Chomps first, then Curly Wurlys :j
