I had a look at these but the 2018 prices looked a bit inflated. The left over 2017 cruises Ive seen included a drinks package or at least drinks at the dinner table.
Their ships go from all over the place - Bristol, Portsmouth, Liverpool, there was even one going from Cardiff at the end of May 2017 but I think it came back in to another port.
Their website though does give details of the guest speakers or entertainment - some recognisable names
Might be better to get quotes from cruise.co.uk

    And Newcastle too.
I cant recommend Bon Voyage enough, and always seem to be cheaper than cruise.com and iglu.

Well I finally got around to ringing sky again after numerous interruptions and inevitably the person I last spoke to who promised she would make notes on the account didn't :(
and I should have made a note of her name but I didn't but I don't think it would have made any difference though.
So again I went through to retensions again but this chap I spoke to would not budge at all.
The best that he would offer me was £71.99 - a £5 discount :rotfl:
    Up from £44.59
He kept going on about loyalty discounts coming to an end, well so can customer loyalty.

So we have gone through with the 31 day cancellations

It seems a very daunting step but hopefully sky will see the error of its ways and get back to me in the next 2 weeks, she says hopefully. Its a war of nerves.

Otherwise plusnet will let me pay for line rental annually (so it works out at £15 something a month) and then £15 a month for fibre but half price for the first 6 months.
TV we can figure out something - Now TV or suchlike ...

but hopefully it may not come to this ;)

We have just had something similar with talk talk Mhoc.....25p reduction on monthly payment via the retention department and just nothing better they could offer.....

OH went away and found a better deal with another provider, cant remember who but it featured Qco....and it wasn't until we had told talktalk to cancel he contract that they finally matched the price....

sometimes you just wish they would take the first phonecall seriously and price match rather than turning it into a battle of wits.

Good to hear you have put in your cancellation - you should now be able to progress. It can be daunting cancelling, but it is the only way to play the game (and remember, you can cancel the cancellation).

As explained on a number o occasions, the only way to get the best deals is to cancel. It is a simple fact - the person you are speaking to when you call in does not have decent offers available on their system to offer you - when you cancel you move over to another team/different offers open up on their systems to offer as you status has changed (from threatening to leave, to leaving!). The chances are if you look at the service area on your Sky TV or login online, there will be an offer visible (either immediately, or within a few days - that offer can itself be beaten sometimes).

    Good luck.

Afternoon all have been MIA as had a scary episode while out doing my daily 10000 steps - suddenly developed palpitations and ended up in hospital with Atrial Fibrillation rapid and irregular ❤️ beat

On beta blockers and blood thinners - don't know what caused it and now feel a bit anxious to go out by myself just in case. Hopefully I will get back on track.

Snap I am so sorry to hear the news about your Sister - I do hope that the treatment works for her.

    Big hugs everyone xx

I was really put off making any more cards.
It's an expensive hobby but people don't realise.
I also made lovely mothers day cards one year from ds to nans. I was also the talk of the family from sil who called me tight to say the least. :(

Must say my cards were fab but unless things cost lots of money they are frowned upon by certain peeps.
This is what worries me :o
