That's a gauntlet thrown down. Let's see who responds. :D
Hope that all is ok with you. X

I doubt anyone will. :rotfl: I think most of the original calendar were the ladies offering up their OH's except for Locarr. ;)

Us ladies did ours remembering madmuppet. :A

All good here thanks, not long back from Larmer Tree, lovely week with all the family. Teeny is growing up so fast. :A

I made a vegetable curry tonight, made entirely from homemade veg :j

We've been eating runner beans now for about a month! Longest so far has been 18 inches. Bringing home bags full almost daily!

Rhubarb is going mad so it's going in the brewing bucket this weekend :D

You know what, I might just do that.

(But only if they let me swap boggin' tea for coffee)

I was saving next for the heart spoon for Teeny but it's disappeared. :(

So I was having a look around for what else was on offer. Seeing as JL is not as kind as they used to be might be good for Elite meets as there is a Druckers in the middle of Poole shopping centre. :D

There is a new offer of a cuddly toy cow but it's 550 yeokens. And they are sold out of tea towels at the moment. Wonder how many TM has. :rotfl:

We will be making strawberry wine this year, have been munching our way through the rhubarb and I made the redcurrant jelly, but we could not use the strawberries quickly enough with them getting mushy, but there is 3lbs of them sitting in the freezer ready and waiting :D

I am the only fan of rhubarb here and I am not allowed it so wine is better than wasting it, I have had about five ripe strawberries so far, miles behind the south but freezer them for jam mostly anyway :)

    My day got hijacked...

Went to large A on special mission to stock up on next term's school socks for g/kids then wasn't due to pick them up till after-school club finished, so I had just made a very late lunch and was looking forward to a few free hours when I had a plaintive phone call to collect them earlier as one of them was not well, so had to leave at 3, and of course kids being kids, he had bounced back and was full of beans! So I amused them till DD got home late, then had to stay for dinner, then had to help catch free-range rabbits and put them in the hutch for the night, then had to play football (I scored the winning goal, think it was just my determination to end the game!) and finally finally was allowed to come home...

I'm sick to the back teeth of the sight of strawberries! The final count was a few grams short of 20lbs :eek:there are a load in the freezer but stupidly, I didn't weigh them before they went in.

I might be nice to the local chip shop and get some of their big food grade buckets - brilliant for wine making. And my grape vine looks fab, with dozens of bunches on it so I'll need all the buckets I can get :rotfl:

    Evening my lovelys

Hope we are all well and enjoying the summer sunshine. Summer hols here so the monkeys have been enjoying the water sprinkler... Only for a couple of minutes though.

    I need advice please...

I bought this dress about a month ago... Much cheaper now though! For my hols but weve been invited to the races
Do we think this will be ok to wear, I've never been before ...

I think it would look perfect styled with a floppy straw type hat and nice chunky platforms in a cork in leather. Big knickers in cast it is a windy day.
Fab dress hope you have a great day.
