Evening Elite :wave: Sorry I've been MIA for a few days but been really busy at charity shop as we had a Wedding Dress and Posh Frocks event, so I've been run off my poor feet. Plus I am really suffering from the stress re Emily. Police finally made contact and, to be honest, not going too well. But tomorrow is 'E' day when she will be finally safe ;) so after that, they can do and say what they want. I can tell them no more than I've told them so far

I'm off for a few days to stay with my friend Kit in Portsmouth and to see the lads. We are going to London on Saturday for Grand Designs show at Excel and then meal at Zizzi afterwards. I'm going to stay a few day more than originally planned as I need cheering up

Thanks to the OPs who mentioned the cheap alcohol at As :beer:

This single malt whisky was £20 in my little As and I think had been £17/£18 ish from the SEL in the big one but I didn't have my glasses on to tell if it was same one. I was happy with £20 though. :T

Also noticed on HUKD someone mentioned First Call ale RTC 84p, it looks like it's still available online? I found some in the big store along with Poachers Choice and Blandford Fly for 78p a bottle.

I should have looked at that HUKD post in more detail before I left, not sure if i checked everything on the list they had.

Also found the Koppanberg (sp?) lemon and lime lager 4 pack of bottles for £1.69.

Thanks to the gentlemen who were already getting the boxes of 8 Thatchers Gold for reaching couple down for me. :A And the guy who shared the ales,. He said he had read about the bargains online but I didn't ask where.
