Perfect for kids' parties I imagine.

Our nearest cinema is a Vue, think there's a Cineworld in L/pool but then there's tunnel fees and awkward cross-city driving to take into account.

Have fun seeing all the films, your boys deserve lots of treats. :D

So right about kids party
Back to my water fights in the garden and yes I'm having more fun than the kids:j:j:j:rotfl:

off we went to sainsbobs forgetting that the prices you can see on mysupermarket are tommorows prices and not today's :(

I felt the need for Radlers cloudy lemonade which is supposed to be £2.50 but it's still £3.50 today :( - £1 on cos

so instead we got the £1 Cumberland sausages

and also the up and go for Q and COS and shopimum - its £1 today but £1.35 tomorrow - free on COS but only £1 on Q
I did x number of separate transactions and the till box never batted an eyelid. all very normal

I also had 50p MOCs we got in Birmingham one Saturday morning a while back - we saw a chap dishing out samples in the rain, ran after him and he gave us loads and also let me have numerous MOCs as well :T

probably these are going into the food bank trolleys

Sorry, this is a continuation of my last post, which has gone over the characters limit, and of course I have to post the rest.

So, please, ignore! (Well, I don't mean that - if you want to reply, that's fine: I just mean if someone doesn't want to read about it.) I'll get onto something else now, I promise. It's just the occasional revisiting of it, prompted by airings such as the latest one in the restaurant and someone mentioning the letter F in a post:rotfl::rotfl:, of all things, a revisiting that is part of the symptoms of PTSD itself (even though I'm fortunately not experiencing any heart racing or anything bad at the moment - maybe because writing this is getting it out of me). Anyway, the continuation of my post...

It's bizarre I know - but it's because I've encountered the altered material so often in public places and been caused severe offence by it, that that's now trigger material (potentially) whilst the "actual swearwords" I don't have such a problem with at all since they've never been played out in public in an inappropriate environment for me (and therefore never caused me repeated occasions of severe offence in such a way) and people generally seem to avoid doing so. (Indeed, I'm so correct and accurate about this - that they don't merely "seem to avoid" doing so but they actually do avoid doing so:rotfl:.) Instead, they play this offensive+ inappropriate material in its place and they seem to assume that it makes it acceptable when, for me, it seriously does not and makes it more bothersome for me. I've gone round and over it and considering it obsessively and so much and to the point of upsetting myself by it before now. It just makes me mull and ruminate over the word. The "offensive" material being the replacement material that has been used instead of swearwords (or other words) in the song and which causes me, often, serious discomfort (when I'm around other people because I'm uncomfortable that they might know what it means and uncomfortable at what it might mean, even if it later (importantly not known to me at the time otherwise I would not have been caused offence) turns out to have been the word "weed") - it leaves them hanging in mid air and annoying me like a bad penetrating smell when suggested at the the end of a failed-to-be-completed sentence. It's just editing offensive material into songs.

Anyway, it often has sounded too close for comfort to the words and given me such a problem and I know that that's what it does mean, as will, I feel, problematically, everyone else around me and because it appears to be trying to hide swearwords. And don't think that what I now understand to be the backmasked versions will work either - they are the worst of the lot and sound too close to the actual words whilst scraping down the soundtrack, sounding equivalent to as if the words are shouted out aggressively, with added emphasis, too close for comfort, rather just being merely said. It's one such version that in fact ended up causing my PTSD in the first place. It hit me for absolute 20, not even 6, given the word that it meant. My heart uncontrollably sank right through the floor and to two storeys below (had they existed, as I was on the ground floor).

I know - it's irrational to be caused offence by a reversed soundtrack sound. However, arguably, it's irrational to be caused offence by the word itself. Although there is some rationality to it - it's because of what that sound means and because of what it means to me and what problems it gives to me, because of its meaning, as a result. Which just makes the material stand out prominently from the rest, because of its discordant and different form - as a person with Asperger's, I will always notice it - even the most minor alteration of all will also stand out for me (namely the tiniest, faintest hint of a partial signature that then reminds me of the full word again and gets me upset by that) - as I would notice a single character wrong in a book of a thousand million lines of code - and I can't possibly pretend people around me to not know about the material, to my problem, when it makes the full language wholly clear or whatever I think it might mean and I'm even uncomfortable at that (even if it later, unknown to me at the time, turns out to have been something completely 'innocent' and inoffensive such as the word "gun"). Ha! The man with the golden ---. Just total hypocrisy and inconsistency as well there on that as I've never heard that song "censored". Ineffectively, as it would just pop up my curiosity as to what word was "missing". And then it wouldn't be - as I'd think of it every time I heard such a blanked version at that spot in future. The difference is when it's not neutral words like "gun" (although maybe that's not "neutral" for some people, as it gives an image that's more shocking to some than an innocent word like a "sandwich", unless some person has a problem with "sandwich" because of some negative connotation for them in the past that I could not know about - that was just a word I thought off the top of my head - but wondering now whether the word "sandwich" makes people feel hungry? Interesting, in a way, if it does, because it's about how words provoke connotations and feelings for people. I think I'm concerned about other people's feelings way too much, in a way, and that's possibly why things affect me, I don't know.

+As a matter of fact not opinion given that it, in fact, causes me discomfort - you could scientifically measure changes in my skin conductance from it to "prove" this.
