In unrelated news I got a few bargain tops from next for around the £5 mark to put away for my holiday. Good job not going until late September as 6 weeks delivery time on most things:eek:

With my back put out I needed shopping. Sainsbugs the only supermarket that recognised ides my new address so used the £20 off £60 spend code and stocked up on a few things.

Earlier this evening the tits and sparrows and pidgeon feeding nicely

Having dust baths in the newly prepared ground for block paving

Then all of a sudden a bird black bird came and grabbed one of the sparrows and flew off into the trees with the bird chirping hysterically poor little thing

But then that fiasco over and the pidgeons have been feeding for months with the other birds ...starts pecking at all the sparrows and tits

So he got order of the boot via a empty plastic bottle I threw at him the bully ..I aimed to hit that way I knew I would miss :)

Here is my hydrangea with a lovely history. It use to belong to my nan who died in 1968. My mum dug it up and took it to her house and kept it in a pot till she moved in 1969 and planted it in her new garden. It even survived a driveway my dad had built. My mum wouldn't allow him to move the hydrangea, so its in the corner of the driveway :) I bought the house from my parents in 1990 and still have the hydrangea.
This is an old photo from a few years ago. Havent got any blue flowers this year :( This year it is a better shape than in this photo :o

Sarah was right, bubbs nicked all the nice men, she wouldn't even let me have one, and then it turned out Westy had snaffled one for herself and found a local straw bale for comfort :D

The wrens and sparrows have the feeder to themselves in our garden, bigger birds cant get on it, and then the pigeons peck around underneath for and leftovers.
