The offers overlapped until today. 2 for £9 ended today but think the 25% is on until 24th so we will have to keep eye out for any new multibuys.
I had a spot of bother yesterday with the 2 deals - but it went very much in my favour ! I picked up 4 reds in the 2 for £9 deal plus 2 Pino Grigio - which I thought were both the same and in the 2 for £9 deal. Unfortunately some of the stock must have been mixed up and I accidentally had 1 that was in the deal and a different 1 that was mixed up. All 6 bottles should have been £5.50 but 1 was only £4.50 and instead of getting £6 off for the 2 for £9 deals I only got £4 off. I realised what had happened so went to CS with a new bottle of the correct wine to get it swapped over.
I explained that because of the 2 deals in operation she would need to void the whole transaction and start again. I said that I had paid £19.85 in total and suggested that she void the lot, give me £20 and offered her my 15p change so that she could start again. She faffed about a bit and said she would have to do it her way or she would get muddled - it all seemed very straightforward to me but she said she had to keep her till right and my suggestion would't work. She then voided the lot , took a handful of money out of the till and put on one side . She then scanned the correct 6 bottles and produced a receipt which showed a total of £33 less £6 (2 for £9) less £8.25 (25%) giving a total final cost of£18.75 - and then a cash tendered line showing £31.80 followed by change due £13.05 !
I THINK the £31.80 must have been the amount she took from her till but I couldn't see as it was out of my line of sigh and I don't understand why she did it. She thrust £13.05 towards me and put the rest back in her till. By this time I was totally confused and I told her that couldn't possibly be right and asked her to check again. She was a bit affronted that I was questioning her maths, insisted that it was right and read out all the details on the receipt saying I had got both the 25% and 2 for £9 discounts and showing me where they showed up. I said I could see that but the totals looked completely wrong and that I thought it was too much. She still claimed I was wrong , gave me the money and called for the next customer. I stood to one side looking very puzzled , examining my receipt for about 5 minutes but she clearly wanted nothing more to do with me and had me pegged as a difficult customer. I haven't a clue how she arrived at her result but I am quite certain that I only paid £19.85 for my original 6 bottles and I left CS with a slightly more expensive 6 bottles - plus £13.05 so the wine cost me £6.80 ! Crazy - but I did try to tell her but she wouldn't listen.ELITE 5:2

Good morning. Hope you are all well. Looks like another nice day here today. Loads of jobs to do in the garden, which if I get them done will give me a nice relaxing easter weekend.
My sharpies C&C was good yesterday as none in stock
Was in my A yesterday and they were installing a shop and scan system. Can we use APGs on these? Has anyone else seen these?
My store has these now but I have not played with them yet so I don't know, sorry!0 -
Bubbs, try changing to a different store and try again. DB had this same issue and that sorted it.

Has anyone managed to upload a £4 Easter egg receipt for Topcashback via the app?
You take your photos and these it uploads into an email. It has the correct username on my email but the app on my phone aligns to my iphone/ipad email so Ive put the account email address as a BCC but I don't suppose its going to get accepted now.
(is it just me that has one email for the main computer and a separate different email one for the ipad/iphone ?)
I managed alright and received the cash already0 -
thanks to the kind person from yesterday for the suggestion re getting the Amstrel and Dark Fruits from Morribobs via the 2 for £16 offer - £10 cashback is very acceptable :j
It also means that when it goes to the accepted stage that I can draw down on my COS :j
Whilst I was in Morribobs which was only about 2 this afternoon I spotted the yellow label lady :T - yellow labels ate a very rate sight around here and I am never in the right place at the right time.
I was very polite and asked if it was OK to take the items I needed from her trolley but she seemed a bit annoyed about it.
She then scuttled off up the next aisle - our little store has a tiny fridge in another corner where yellow label items go, mostly the shutters are down on it, never seen it opened. The assistant was really weird, very agitated, asking us all to keep back while she unloaded her trolley - deep persecution complex as there was only 3 of us hovering and it was all very polite and amicable
One lady just wanted the cheap sausages for barbecue ing and I had 3 small pies for 29p and a pasty for 29p for the freezer. I also got 2 scotch eggs 9p to go with tonights salad and some cooked chicken tikka 29p.
Also got 3 of the Cathedrel City bags with 14 portion sizes of cheese for 29p each - these will be useful for lunch boxes this week
Would have been handy if the Morrissons had any of the stuff in but only the original and it came up on the reciept as original too so took it back before I left the place .0 -
is anyone else having wasp issues already?
We had one in the porch this morning, one in the house and one landed next to me by the sink as I was washing up
They have nested for the last two years under the facia boards above the kitchen window, no bother except to the window cleaner but someone will get stung before long. We have got the foam stuff from B&Q this morning to see if we can fill the gaps up ...
I had a big one in the bathroom just now when I went to have my bath so I closed the door and "helped " it out of the window. Didn't fancy having a wasp in there while I was having my bath lol0 -

I shall stock up if they recommend it:)
I have noticed that - I had it last time it was on offer, tend to have it with a bit of fresh fruit and almond milk! It is very nice. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
