I've done this before, used to wake up in the night tasting dust and coughing endlessly, ended up with 3 chest infections during the year. Never again, and I'm getting too old for that now :rotfl:

    :D

I have to admit I am too old to live in a building site.

did you get a warning indicator when you had your MOT?

We had one on ours in November for the tyres to be changed before the next MOT but as we were not going far the tyres were not changed until the end of January before our weekend away

I do about 40,000 a year so new tyres are regular feature it is just I normally notice that I need them before they are bald!

If anyone is about to buy something from Groupon check your emails and they are having a 4 hour flash sale and there is a code for 15% off before 8 tonight.

Go via Quidco for 5% cashback

And then when it shows as tracked on your account then you can do a matched cashbook claim - TCB are offering 10% :D

I treated us to a packet of Bircher muesli in Marksies yesterday. You soak overnight with apple juice and yoghurt and we had it for breakfast this morning. Loved it.

Not enjoying Sains Hot Cross Buns though.....too spicey for my liking....to the point of being unpleasant:o

is anyone else having wasp issues already?

We had one in the porch this morning, one in the house and one landed next to me by the sink as I was washing up :(

They have nested for the last two years under the facia boards above the kitchen window, no bother except to the window cleaner but someone will get stung before long. We have got the foam stuff from B&Q this morning to see if we can fill the gaps up ...

Hi all, flying visit from lurkdom :o hope all are well.
Mhoc, just saw your post above.
We had the same problem last year. We foam filled the gaps, but they found another way in . I bought this stuff, and it worked within a few days.

Really good stuff, but follow the instructions as not good to inhale. I tied a teatowel over my mouth and nose. :rotfl:

Yes they had powder stuff with a nozzle and this foam stuff in B & Q so we dithered a long while and decided to try the foam first, thinking it might be less messy than the powder but not so sure now ...
We feel a bit mean doing this but the roof space above the kitchen is probably 90% nest now and before long someone is bound to get stung ...
