back from ikea, done detours along the way to T for beef- we found some:):) bought 6 bottles of wine also, went to cs and they refused dtd, thet would swap it for those joints marked at £5 mine apparently weren't in the offer...the manager was called and he wouldn't budge :( he offered the joints at 1/2 price but not dtd...gosh it was embarrassing  I walked away...and left DH still sternly arguing his corner, we left the meat and got a refund.
I think an email to cs is in order.
the manager put the joints back in the same fixture as we got them out of  so some poor soul is going to be paying double what they should be
DH wanted to stop in again on the way back from ikea, but I couldn't go thru that again.
It would be interesting to see if the meat is still there tomorrow, there were at least 6 joints in the ELY branch.

It was more successful at Ikea....£65 ish in the restaurant :rotfl:...my dear little grandsons had the kids lunch in a bag, diam bar dessert eac, fizzy Belvoir drink and a bottle of water each, 2 diam bars (3 in pk) 1 large bar of chocolate an orange and a bag of salted almonds.
We had the lamb shank yummy, blueberry cheesecake, 2 bottles of wine (to have later as im driving) coffee as well as the chocolates and nuts as the grand children had.
we paid no problem ..but then I had forgotten we didn't have the grandchildren with us, oh dear we had to have doggy bags:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Even with the money off I still had just over £100 to pay:eek:
wish we were closer I could have gone again next week :rotfl::rotfl:

I like my wine to taste like lemonade....... I am not as sophisticated as you all are!!!

LOL I don't like wine at all :)

But me mum likes the Kumala Cabernet Sav so a couple for her, couple for birthday presents and couple of raffle prizes.

I don't sleep well at the best of times, but security light keeps going on and off at the back. There is a fox sat on the decking. I am hoping it isn't injured but not going out to check until daylight.

Well done Hillbern! We also had the lamb shank at IKEA last night. Very yummy. Brought home biscuits and Belvoir. Wish I had thought about the 'grandchildren'!

I think we will probably go back next week, so will be more prepared :o

Just writing a list of all the things I need to do in the Easter hols. Should just put ........lurking on here and buying razors. At least then I could tick something off the list! :rotfl:

    Happy Saturday
