Evening all - in need of some tecnical advise pretty please

My phone - iphone 5 I think has been difficult for more a few days but today has been the worst - bricking

I charged it over night but by lunchtime it was way down so I had to plug it in again, doubting if I'd actually switched it on .
Just gone to it again and its completely dead :mad:
Usually it lasts 2 or 3 days - This is the third charge its had in 24 hours :(

Please can someone go through and tell me what I need to check on settings that needs to be switched off, anything battery draining - words of half a syllable please :D
I know the 4G is switched off and I got OH to check it for me to see if I missed anything else but maybe something else has been switched on and Ive not noticed it.

Its had a full switch off and a restart several times yesterday

I switched to 3 yesterday but that would not affect my battery life or would it? It has the new sim in it ...

Ive also not done the latest IOS update either - been putting it off incase another new update came out and I read somewhere about the new IOS bricking phones
Just wondering if its safe now to do the update ...
Or is that another red herring

Good morning. We are on the latest iOS on our 5 and 5S and the only issue faced was it changed the settings for iCloud (switched them back on when I had switched off) - they sent an email about this issue. Hold down your home bottom and then the power button at the same time and it should then reboot. By coincidence Mrs Aaron had this exact same issue on Tuesday and that resolved it. I am not sure what caused it though .

Good morning. Just gone to add C&C for tonight as not doe one for a while. When did sharpies go up to 9.50? Need to watch the APG as if it still works, could be £84 for 10!

Gosh, I just checked my basket which has been sitting there for a few days now ...and low and behold a £56 total is now up to £95.50:eek:

Good morning - it will be interesting to see if this still matches on APG as you would need to have clear calculations before ordering more if you are near the monthly limits. Obviously no difference for instore shops or if they have stock, but if not it is very profitable.

My first world problem is then spending the vouchers as I don't tend to need big shops! Also would an APG over £50 result in a £50 voucher?

    Thank you

    Good morning All,

Not a good night sleep. I kept thinking about yesterday morning.......I went to feed the hens, only to find that a fox had got into the enclosure and killed them. (It had to climb 6 foot wire mesh to get in!). So sad.

DS2 was wonderful. Hadn't realised just haw tall he has grown until I tried crying on his shoulder, and it was way above me!!!!!!

Hoping for a better day. You too!

So sorry to hear this house elf......will you start again with new stock when you feel better?

When we lost ours that was it for me:o

That's news to me - I did a cc order last night to collect today and they were still £5. Are you sure you ordered the right ones ? Sorry, having looked at the Asda site I can see you are right. Under their current pricing rules I presume I will be charged yesterday's £5 price ?
Badger, I knew I should have finished off my order last night.

Mother of 3, could be me...:D

Oh 3 sons, no that's not me. :rotfl:

Her shelves are far more organised than mine.

I remember those "mum and me" products, they were from coupons couple years back. Didn't you order the cheap little bag set from online for next to nothing and voucher was inside? Think some people were lucky find the little bags in store.

Goes back to zoom in what else she has. :o

What do you mean "next to" nothing, did you actually pay

OH is still using the baby shampoo that I got with the vouchers :D

mhoc, don't know much about Iphones but I do know that when the batteries go they can go dramatically. I have a friend who uses Iphones (not her choice, husband insists on all things apple ) and at one stage she was lucky to get a couple of hours out of one of hers.

I know others have mentioned £50 vouchers in the past so it's always a possibility.....you will have to get spirits in for Christmas presents:)

New bonus points to load to card on Nectar for me today

    Collect bonus points on each of your next 4 shops (1st shop=25 points, 2nd shop=50 points, 3rd shop=75 points & 4th shop=100 points) until 03/05/2017

    That'll be 4 bananas:rotfl:

    On different days:)

Remind me though.....do we need to spend £1 per transaction?
